By the title of this, you think you’re going to a “clambake”, right? “Wrong!” This is the name of a movie that Elvis starred in in 1967 and David is using it for the name and theme of his Elvis Festival. It’s held in Guntersville, Alabama, on Mother’s Day Weekend each year. I went for the first time last year and it was such a music filled, fun filled, wonderful weekend that while I was there, I bought my ticket to go again this year. • $290 - you attend all shows and you get a chair to sit in

• $325 you attend all shows, you get Sunday Brunch and you are seated at a table for the concerts

• $375 - you attend all shows, are seated at a table, and three meals are included

  I recommend the $375 ticket because this festival is held at an Alabama State Park, Lake Guntersville Lodge. You have to secure a room at the Lodge and they do have a restaurant, but the catered meals were so good - go for it!

I have booked myself a single room for this one and the cost for two nights is $287.93. I am flying to Huntsville from Tampa on May 8th with a friend from The Villages. We are staying at a Clarion in Huntsville the night of May 8th. We have a rented car to get from Huntsville to Guntersville and back. We will leave Guntersville immediately following the Sunday Gospel Show and fly back to Tampa Sunday evening. I can provide my flight information to anyone who is interested, but I can’t give you pricing as I used air miles for this trip and the actual price for ticketing changes daily.
